Your data protection rights
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026.
This policy explains how Cube Counselling ("I", "me") collects and uses your personal information when you contact me through this website. I am the data controller for this information and am committed to protecting your privacy in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What I collect
When you complete the contact form, I collect the name, email address, optional phone number, and message you provide. I only ask for the information needed to respond to your enquiry — please do not share sensitive details about your health or circumstances in the form itself; there will be space for that once we are working together.
How your enquiry is handled
Your message is protected against spam using Cloudflare Turnstile and processed by a Cloudflare service that forwards it directly to my email inbox via Resend, an email delivery provider. The pipeline is kept deliberately simple so your enquiry stays within infrastructure I control and is not routed through third-party form services. Your email is stored in my professional Microsoft 365 mailbox.
Lawful basis
I process your enquiry on the basis of my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and to take steps at your request before potentially entering into a counselling agreement.
How long I keep it
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to begin working together. If we do not go on to work together, I will delete your enquiry within a reasonable period.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of essential cookies required for security — specifically Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the contact form against spam. These are necessary for the site to function and are always active.
With your consent, the site also uses Google Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. This sets analytics cookies (for example _ga) and shares usage data with Google. No analytics cookies are set unless you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner shown when you first visit — you can choose "Decline" to refuse them, and your choice is remembered. The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal data I hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact me at domonic@cubecounselling.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
